FEEL the DANCE Orange BEAT ya STREET 2013!

FEEL the DANCE Orange BEAT ya STREET 2013!

Kenya Youth for Change from coastal regional, will go down in history of choreography as one of the most promising dance troupes to have ever been assembled in the country. Having won a number of dance competitions, the moment to crown the best had actually come. It had been a long journey to get grand finale and the team would never know what was going to happen.

KYFC as is normally abbreviated is a team consisting young men and women whose prowess in flexing body parts systematically and rhythmically is not of this world. During the year’s finale, the teams had shown what choreography is all about and express their message clear of clinching the title again. The team had worked very hard through the elimination stages beating clear other contenders on stage. Their determination, confidence, hard work and self-belief had put them at the crescendo of the competition.

I was at the gallery to witness the young men do their magic on stage.it was a night full of amazement all were overjoyed by the developments.Said Farhia, a cousins fiancée who had never accompanied us before but that night; was short of words but just a wow word would be heard!

KYFC would have forced their way into the final but their effect onto me surely builds my Confidence that anything is possible as long as there is commitment and the desire to have it.The conviction that came into my mind is that we have to run on confidence in order to create environments conducive for success. I also understood that one does not have to sit in an office clad in a suite and tie to make ends meet. As one entertains himself/herself, the end product can be tapped to generate income and earn a living.

This troupe has created an environment where one takes time to enjoy life, learn different talents and nurture youth’s dreamsto come true. While here one gets the ability to execute world class talents and for KYFC dancing crew will be a significant legacy to live a lifetime.

With the two teams at the final Dabz and Tsunamifor them to claim the title. ”Championship of Orange beat ya street”. The Judges had a chance to crown the impressing teams for the final preparation.  For FBI;the team with a female fan base at the ceremony, it was almost clear that they would clinch the crown. The chants were enough to take them through the top spot while on the other hand their men took authoritative position and opinion shaping role of the choreography.Looking at the brighter side, thiswasthe team utterly propelled on this position owing to the two facts, (the home base factor as well as the large home supports and possession of modern facilities history with better exposure).

Other than this nationwide competition, KYFC has also been involved in multiple competitions, but it’s a privilege too to them by making the ends meet. Great entertainers to be watched out for their perfected crafts, moves and the ability to put a crowd on toes too effortlessly will see the team soar to greater heights. The team however did no clinch the title due to the stiff competition from the other opponents.

Way Forward; KYFC has leant from the best and need to evaluate some of their weakness and formulate an appropriate strategy to come to the peak of the entertainmentlist. With this in mind they stand a chance to make that which is thought to be impossible to pass. We can only keep moving despite the adversities encountered in the past competitions. Action points include; searching for advance technique and modern facilities, create spiritcreativity and enjoy the challenges posed at every step.We can, build a legacy by becoming better dancing professional and connect you with the world!

To sum up, may I salute the KYFC dancing crew, funs and other volunteers for a job well done and by playing a strong role in defining another chapter of dancing  history. This is a once in a life time opportunity and their dream come true. They can now talk about many specific ways in which the habits and discipline learned and practiced in the dance helped to self-regulate and use successful strategies to succeed in life.

For KYFC: THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!
